Social Media and PR

 

This exercise was part of my Crisis Communications Management course and involved picking a topic discussed in class and researching it in more thorough detail.

 

I chose to analyze the dramatic effect that social media has had on public relations. My paper focuses on how communication technologies accelerate the spread of information—whether accurate or not—and how this rapid dissemination of information will only escalate as technology and social media continue to soar.
